to market, to market...

to showcase our goods.  We finally got an opportunity to travel to Hobart for The Barn Market and meet the lovely market-goers who came along. We made it a family affair and took our husbands/children along. Well, not to the market itself but for a little holiday. It was a great time and the littlies all behaved themselves which is a plus.
The market was a success for us despite it being a 'quiet' day and we will be back there in May to do it all again.
Here we are with our little stall, we're very happy with the way it turned out! Can you tell by the smiles on our faces?!

The little chest of drawers were made on Wednesday and finished by Friday morning, so we were very chuffed about that!

There were plenty of people coming and going all day which made the time pass quickly.
Aimee was opposite us with her GORGEOUS Greentree products..Sarah and I were quick to spend at her stall!

All in all it was a fantastic experience.. we loved meeting so many new people and hearing some very positive feedback.
Helen (Pili Pala Pieces) has done an amazing job organising this market, especially as she has a baby due in a few weeks!!
Everything looked great and flowed smoothly, no hiccups at all.
It was a pleasure to be a part of and we are looking forward to doing it all again soon...

well...we've made it!

Made it to the big time.. exceeded expectations and now we have graduted to the world of blogging.
No, not really. This is just another way to correspond with those who like to know what we're up to. We realise that not everyone is on Facebook (I know..can you believe that?!)  so for those people who love to 'blog' we now have our own. I'll be the first to admit that I am a follower of a few blogs, they're great!  Hopefully we may get one or two followers and then it will be worth it.
While we're on the subject of blogging, here are a few shout out's to some fellow bloggers.. Aimee @ Greentree , Zoe @ Otter & Wombat and Sonia @ Sundays Child Check them out, they all have beautiful handmade products and they are LOVELY gals!
Thanks for stopping by, more to come soon...
